Anthony Scaramucci, former White House Communications Director, has raised alarms about Donald Trump’s deepening ties to cryptocurrency projects. Speaking at the Financial Times Digital Asset Summit, Scaramucci suggested these ventures—including the TRUMP meme coin and World Liberty Financial—could create potential corruption vectors during a critical period for crypto regulation.

New data reveals stark disparities in the TRUMP coin’s performance: 58 wallets have profited millions while 764,000 holders face losses. Scaramucci framed these projects as distractions from bipartisan regulatory efforts, though stopped short of alleging direct malfeasance. "Let’s give them all the benefit of the doubt," he cautioned, "but there are pathways."
